The Hotel Waldstein, a newly renovated historical building, is situated in the center of Prague in Mala Strana, very close to Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and other famous sites. This originally Gothic building received its present form during the Renaissance. It was registered as a Czech national cultural heritage because of its unique architectural elements. There are preserved painted ceilings from the 17th century in some rooms as well as Gothic or Renaissance vaults. At the reception area you can buy drinks and exchange money. The staff will also be happy to organize sightseeing tours and excursions as well as ordering you a taxi. A rich buffet breakfast is served in a beautiful Renaissance vaulted cellar with an original well. The hotel also boasts a pleasant atrium.
